Hi everybody! I don't usually uses blaze while I work. I put it on the table. After about four hours, the blaze turned to 60% batteries from 100%. Any power-down mode can I use in the blaze?

I personally think 65 is opportunistic, but then I long ago lost connection with what people think their time is worth. Then again, I can run a soldering iron. I'd still suggest the beer-and-nerds approach though; who knows, you may make some nerdfriends. 🙂

Well, as an electronics person, I'd say that soldered leads is the correct decision on their part; spring clips are for products you expect to change frequently.
Regarding the numbers, I agree it's short sighted to blow off customers who might otherwise be repeat customers. But if you consider, it's probably only a few hundred customers yelling in here. They may assume those who speak here are the entirety of unhappy customers (I think that's mistaken). I do expect they care about groups of customers they count in thousands, and that they tell themselves the dissatisfied are in the hundreds and therefore unimportant.

No argument there; I think blowing off actual customers who have a legitimate complaint is an enormous blunder.
I bought one of the cheap chinese HRM watches first. Found it's made by <incomprehensible-chinese-characters>, required we download an app called <incomprehensible-chinese-characters> from a site called <incomprehensible-chinese-characters> and the app wasn't even cryptographically signed. I won't put that mystery code into my phone. So that one was wasted money.
Then bought a "used, fully operational" blaze I had to repair out of the box. Still working for now, but not particularly tempted by any fitbit in future unless they do something about their warranty and post-warranty service policy.

I’m not sure what I’ll do when my 2 Blazes pack it in as I love mine as well and have been issue free for over 3 years now. As you said, I would like to get at least another year out of them...fingers crossed!

This post makes me angry. You are suggesting that, in order to get anything like the promised charge time, we should turn off most of the features. As it happens I use very few of the features mentioned, (still can't even get 2 days worth of charge) but it is the principle of the thing! The last one is the best! Shut down Blaze when it's not in use? As it has a sleep monitor (which stopped working properly lately, btw) as part of its features. When do you suggest we should shut it down?

Yeah, mine is a replacement Blaze as well. Certainly won't be buying another! This is a Fitbit (not just Blaze) problem. I have had several Fitbits before the Blaze - none lasts the distance. In fact, every one I've had was replaced under warranty, only to have the same problem a year or so later
--------------------------------------------------
I am a long time Fitbit user. Most (if not all) were replaced under warranty at least once. So, AFAIC there is a problem with your batteries in ALL of your Fitbits. I was silly enough to hope that upgrading to a newer, more expensive model will fix the problem, but no more. Why would I pay 75% for yet another faulty Fitbit?

That is what they eventually did for me. I was very happy with customer
service with mine. I do not think my current issue is necessarily a design
flaw. Batteries all eventually wear out. I had to replace the battery in my
MacBook Air, this year. Of course, that one lasted 6 years. I just think
they should take ownership of the process and make it easier. The notion
that when a battery wears out, someone should trash their watch and go to
something else is ridiculous to me. Just make it easier to swap batteries
or let me pay you to do it for me, is all I'm asking. My blaze is well
outside the warranty period, so mine is not having issues prematurely.
Actually, since I returned the heart monitor to auto instead of on, and
restarted the watch, it seems to be lasting longer. Fingers crossed.

But some people said, the Blaze died completely a few days after that replaced the battery

Yep! Lesson learned, just the hard way though, lol. My granddaughter had bought me the cheapest one for Christmas ( will be 2 years ago this Christmas) I loved it. But the band broke and I couldn't find a band for it. So thought I would go with one that does all these cool things. But I guess that is if you only want to use it one day then charge again. NOT! OH WELL.
You could probably find a band on eBay

They will never give the discount until you actually get a coupon from them so remember that. I tried and asked them about the 25% discount and they said to you have the coupon? Heck no they told me in the forums I would get a discount but when pressed on getting it they said no. Typical Chinese company tactic.

I think customer service reps say the things they are allowed to say. If you (as do the rest of us) find those responses limited and repetitive, well you can draw your own conclusions about the range of things they're allowed to say.

That's the thing. There is no way I could do it myself and paying for it is a bit of a worry. May just be throwing good money after bad.
A few people here have replaced the battery and it got completely bricked a few days later

I replaced the battery, but it still drains in hours after a full overnight charge...

This is why I am reluctant to pay someone to replace the battery for me

Google your nearest town name and "hackerspace" or "makerspace" or in au "men's shed", you may have a nerdnest nearby. That'll be the crew I suggest you take a kit and a case of decent beer, try your luck. 🙂

I'm in the same boat. I once got a Garmin (in between two Fitbits) and I can't remember what the problem was, may have been syncing or something, but I ended up getting a refund
I have been looking at some that look more like a proper watch, but not sure how good those are
