For the last couple of days I’m having to charge the battery every night. I’ve tried cleaning the contacts. I don’t have a clue why this all of a sudden happened. Thanks you for any help. Judy Buckman

Hi @Judybuckman, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for already cleaning the contacts on your Blaze and charging cable.
Please take a look at the help article Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? and follow the tips and recommendations provided there.
We recommend to charge your trackers via the USB port over a wall adapter. However, it is also possible to charge your Fitbit tracker with a UL certified wall adapter. What may actually cause damage to the tracker's battery (either on a computer or a wall adapter) is the charging time, which if excessive over time may damage the battery and therefore cause quick battery drain or prevent the tracker from charging at all.
Tips to best charge Fitbit trackers are:
For charging purposes, your charging cable can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:
Give this a go and let me know the outcome, I'll be around.

Very frustrating. I charged my Fitbit blaze from computer as per your suggestion and it shows 100 percent. It didn’t even last a full day. Also at gym this morning heart monitor wouldn’t register. Please help. Judy Buckman

I noticed that too! For a long while now I've noticed the heat rate will either not show, or it will show much lower than it should. (Is. 135 when I know I'm at 160) I joke in my kickbox class that the class killed me literally.
