Ever since the new apple update my blaze does not hold a charge and I receive no text notifications! I have tried all the things that have been posted to try and nothing is working! I am about to throw it in the garbage! Never buying a Fitbit again!

Hi @Lalafaz27, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing with your Blaze, I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. Let me share with you that the battery of our Blaze device was designed to last 5 days but this also depends on how frequently you use it’s features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much. After doing so, please this help article for more tips and recommendations.

Regarding notifications, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Blaze are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I’ll be right here if you need anything else.

I haven’t noticed mine not holding a charge but I still can’t get text messages.  It’s really annoying. This should have been fixed my now.  I’m currently looking at switching to a Apple Watch.

I am getting so tired of FitBit, looking to switch to Apple also.  Still no updates on the notifications since Oct 9.  Very frustrating, especially since I am on my 4th Fitbit in less than 2 years.

I noticed today that the Fitbit app is now set to continuously sync rather than on demand. I did try that setting when I first got my Blaze but quickly turned it off as it wasn't battery friendly so it might be worth checking to see if yours has turned on as well.

I don’t have an issue with the battery life. My issue is that I still do not get text messages. I’ve tried every suggestion and it still doesn’t work. It’s pretty disappointing that this issue is still not resolved
