Sometimes a couple of restarts shakes out the cobwebs Deb, give it a shot and see if you can improve that lithium tracking time by a few days at least...

Right, now put it in its charge cage, force sync by pulling down on your mobiles fitbit tile screen, and see if it moves from "red". If yes, happy dance, if no let it charge for 2 hrs, force sync again and see if still red?
(Also, remember, no logo splash on the blaze screen when resetting means you need to hold those buttons a little longer to get there, if never (more than 30 secs) getting there, battery is asking for a charge to proceed)

I am also having this issue. Since the last update, my Blaze only holds a charge for 1-2 days instead of the 4-5 days previously. I use the same settings as before.

I have the same battery problem, after fully charging it I'm back to empty within 3 hours, this is the second blaze I have now, returned the first but lost receipt for current one!

Verify the green LED's on your tracker are flashing - that indicates the hardware is likely to be OK.
Now go to settings, click on your Blaze and make sure "Auto" is selected for Heart Rate. This makes sure you Blaze is being asked for the information. If all was as it is should be, we are only left with checking the handshake. On your mobile go to >settings >bluetooth and turn it off. Then turn it back on. Press and pull down on your fitbit app tile screen to force a sync - does HR data show up now?
If not go back to mobile settings>bluetooth and switch it off. Now power down your mobile and then boot it back up, go to settings>bluetooth and switch it back on, your mobile should discover your Blaze, connect it, open the fitbit App and pull down on the screen - has the HR data returned?

Thanks for your help, unfortunately battery is still playing up and I have contacted Fitbit. To cut a long story short this is my 3rd Blaze with the same prob, last one I bought as pre-owned so I'm not covered by warranty, 4 out of 6 members of my family have returned and replaced their fitbits, my mum is actually on her 3rd also due to faulty battery, I will not be touching Fitbit ever again and will now buy an apple watch, their customer service is second to none when dealing with faulty products. Thank you Fitbit for nothing!

Repeat battery issues (same user) get mentioned as a point of frustration for some users (This Spring, I counted 17 out of several million sold across all product forums). Just as research to help those that have a recurring life issue - can you please share the how/when/where's of your charging routines?
Your insight would be huge since the issue resurfaced for you even with warranty replacement trackers.
As an example, I own a Surge, Blaze, Charge 2, Alta HR and a flex2. I do my best to never let them fully discharge, only charging when the tracker itself asks for juice with the "charge me" icon - usually every 4-5 days. I connect to its charge cable for exactly 2 hrs using the same small USB AC box that came with my iPhones, no longer and no less. The active tracker gets wiped down (contacts and all) thoroughly with the damp towel I've used after each shower. None have battery issues as yet, lithium cells do have a set life so I'm just trying to figure out what that life is with my usage.
I also have these fitness Apps on my iPhone; but only allow them to manually sync with my fitbit account (on demand) rather than Automatic: Apple Health, Sync Solver (to copy data to the former), iCardio, Map my Walk and Nudge (just for fun).
What are we doing different?
