Running Timer Not Matching Workout Summary in App

I tracked my morning run on the Fitbit Blaze.  I hit Play on the Run feature after my warm-up and then pressed Pause when I finished my run.  The timer read 27:40 when I paused and then clicked Done.  A few minutes later, I checked my activity in the app and it showed that my run took 30:52.  Is there any explanation for this?

 

I don't think I was hallucinating when I read 27:40 on my watch and I made sure to pause it when I was done.

Did you paise it, and pressed the end also?

I pressed Pause and then Done (the flag).
