Seems like you would still get your distance as long as you are using your gps on your phone. And if you use the estimate of approx 2000 steps per mile you can assume you would have walked that amount if you were walking and then manually add that to your blaze. Idk I like to see my steps but really you know if you worked out whether it be biking or something else so it still counts.

I have the fitbit app on my phone and I have my phone connected to the fitbit blaze using Bluetooth, but when I start a ride it isn't recording the mileage. Is there a step I'm missing?
Thanks,

Mext tome @phatkicker check the phone icon on the Blaze, if it is red the the tracker lost the gps connection.
Has the phone been restarted yet?
Do you have Fitbit Notifications running? Since your asking about a phone, can we be enlightened as to thr model?

@cmurph127 from your dashboard, click or tap on the picture of your tracker found in the top right corner, niw ooen the Exercise shortcuts, remove what you don't want, add what you want, arrange them in the order you want. Exit and wait for tye tracker to sync.
For tye GPS start up an exercise like walk, run, hike, or bike, the Blaze should connect to the phones gps.

@Huddo1903 - Make sure to start the exercise from the Blaze (not your phone, which can only start and track the three activities you mentioned). If biking is not on the list of exercises you can choose from on your Blaze, you will have to add it in settings on your phone or computer app then sync to get it on the list of available exercises on the Blaze.
