Blaze bluetooth (LE) invisibility - Can't sync wirelessly

As I'm getting all-too-used to with Fitbit device hardware, for no apparent reason overnight my new Blaze dropped the bluetooth LE connection with my phone and now is wirelessly invisible to all devices.  I can plug it into my computer to sync it with the charging USB dongle, but that's not really an option especially since I got it to use it for run tracking with the connected GPS--without that I'd just as soon use the Charge HR.  It suddenly stopped syncing at like 11pm last night and even after restarting the Blaze with the buttons shortcut, shutting down and turning back on the Blaze, turning off-and-on the iPhone's bluetooth, turning off and restarting the phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit iOS app.  I removed the Blaze from the account and attempted to re-add it, it never shows up as available to add unless I add it using the USB charger dongle.  All other devices in the house (including a Fitbit One and a Fitbit Charge HR, Pebble smartwatches, etc) are connecting fine to the phone so I don't think it's the iPhone's bluetooth (I wouldn't expect it to be anyway with the relative reliability of Apple vs. Fitbit hardware--the Apple devices work without fiddling indefinitely, I'm lucky if I can go a month without a basic functionality issue with Fitbit devices).  On the flip side, the unreliability seems to work both ways and sometimes the Fitbit hardware will suddenly start working again for no apparent reason just as quickly as it stopped working in the first place.

Anybody have any ideas?  I'm not talking about the classic mode bluetooth, I don't care about that, I just want it to sync and for the connected GPS to work the way it should.

Since I can sync it with the USB dongle I'd even be willing to try a factory reset if I could find any instructions on how to do so.  Why I have to deal with this after having a new device for less than a week is pretty sad though.

It's great to see you around @voodoorat. Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. I would like to know if you keep having problems syncing your tracker with your iOS device? If you do, I recommend following our Syncing Troubleshoot. Sometimes having a second device that works with Bluetooth won't allow the Blaze to sync with your phone. So, if you have another device like this take it off from your bluetooth settings.

I think that is what happened, that an iPad mini was also connected to the blaze via bluetooth (it connects to the One and the Charge HR also without issue) and for whatever reason that was preventing it from syncing with the iPhone.

I struggled with it for a while but eventually after removing it from the account I was able to re-add it using the iPad mini (it never "saw" it with the iPhone) and then turning off and on the "all day sync" to have it add the bluetooth device to the iphone again.  Something like that, anyway.  I've had it temporarily lose connection a few times but I think I was able to temporarily turn off the iPad bluetooth and re-establish the connection to it.  At least that's part of my own personal troubleshooting script now.

Anyway. it's working now and has been since a day or two after I posted.  I'm mark it as solved.

Thanks.

This is a limitation of any Bluetooth receiver, it is only able to hook up to one source at a time. It will be the same thing for your BT speaker, you need to disconnect it from one device before hooking it up to another.

I'm glad it is working.
