A warm welcome to the Community @MDParsons.
If your tracker's button isn't working, you may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes.

Hello, I am having the same problem with my Blaze. But I think the problem is related more with the blaze’s software, maybe last update, because the buttons are working when you start the watch (after shut down), so no dust or other issues with the buttons. Can you please tell us if this is a recognised software problem and you are trying to fix it with a new update? My fitbit is out of warranty and a change won't be covered. I was enjoying it before this, and if this is a strategy (to mess up the buttons) to buy another one or to do an upgrade, i think it’s a wrong one...
Thank you
