Today my Blaze shows walk1945 steps but burns 2445 calories
This must be wrong
Normally 5000 steps cannot go up to 1800 calories. Is my watch broken down? What can I do ?

Hi, @fionafc1999, your Blaze is not just counting calories for the time you were walking, but is also counting the calories you burn just staying alive.  These are called BMR calories and are calculated based on the information you entered when you set up your account: gender, age, height and weight.  These calories are burned keeping all your vital systems going -- heart beating, lungs expanding, even your brain burns calories.  In fact, for many people these represent the majority of calories burned.  Fitbit will continue to calculate all day, even if you don't wear your tracker.  The number resets to zero every night at midnight.

I hope this helps make it clearer!
