Blaze daily steps problem

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I am not sure if this is just me, but my blaze seems to track only 1/3 of the steps I make a day. My phone also does a perimeter and doesn't track when driving of riding in vehicles, so I know it is just as accurate. I will get 4.3 miles on my phone, but only 1.25 on my blaze. This doesn't seem correct at all. Should I send it back or maybe just get a new one?

Im confused perimater? Phone track?  Not tracking when driving?

Im not sure what the perimeter is, or what type of tracking and how do you want to track a car ride?  If it isnt tracking in the car, how did this perimeter yhing work.

What app or is it the cars odometer did you use to get 4.3.

For the 1.25 what method on the Blaze did you use, was tye gps connected? Did you use walk or run mode?

Sorry my phone auto corrected. Pedometer or step counter on my phone is what I ment. Some people have that issue with their phones and other step trackers. I do have GPS on and I have walk on. Not run. I didn't know there was a run mode other than on exercise. My blaze and my phone both track steps and running automatically. When I go on runs and GPS track my distance, it will maybe track 75% of the steps. Most days it only does 1/3 of my regular 4 miles of steps a day. My charge never messed up this badly so I was just wondering if it was just me that was having this issue.

We've talked about the distance/steps problems for MONTHS here.

Most of us are at 70-75% accuracy on steps/distance.

We are awaiting a (supposed ?) firmware or software fix from FitBit.  Nothing from the Mods here on weeks on that............

Welcome to the Community @Cstoffel@Corvettekid it's great to see you around and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by! Woman Very Happy I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze accuracy, if you do, I recommend checking our How accurate is GPS? article. Also, can you please be more specific about the inconvenience you have?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
