My husband's Blaze is doing that too. He's had it just over a year.  It's still syncing, counting steps and keeping time but looks like this152849622330286104154.jpg

Welcome to the Forums @Bagelbutt! Thanks for sharing your husband's experience with Blaze and for providing pictures to better understanding. 

 

Upon checking with Support, I was able to see that currently you have a case with them. I'm sure that they can help you further with this and get you back on track in no time.
