My FitBit Blaze, extremely frustratingly, lost steps after syncing to my phone. I've tried TWICE to add them back on manually and every time I do in the PC dashboard it won't add steps when I add a walking activity. This isn't the first time this has happened, after syncing I've lost an entire day of steps and there's no way to get them back, it seems like there is reverse syncing going on, meaning that the phone is syncing to the device and not the device importing it's information to the phone.
Before asking - was this synced to my phone previously. Yes.
Was I in a different timezone. No.
Do I own more than one device. No.
Do I use bluetooth for anything else. No.
I've followed every thing I have found on the FitBit help to manually add my steps back on - I shouldn't have to mind you because that's EXTREMELY inaccurate - but whatever I do, the steps won't reappear on my device.

Hi there @goandygo. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having problems with the steps disappearing from your tracker. That does sound very strange and thanks a lot for answering those questions. I was right about to ask some of those but that helps a lot!
I'd like you to try to restart your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.
Once you've done this, please try to set up your Blaze as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and it shouldn't be taking off steps from what your tracker has already recorded.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!
