Blaze display corrupted

Do not buy, my son bought Fitbit Blaze for my birthday in July and I love it, however I recently noticed black lines across the screen, I contacted customer services via chat explained the problem and had to upload a picture showing the fault, they identified the device agreed it was faulty and said they would email me a form to complete so that I could be sent a replacement and before I left chat would I mind answering customer survey which of course I did and gave glowing feedback, as my problem was seemingly solved.

Form was duly emailed I could choose a replacement Blaze or upgrade but only to some of their most expensive products for 50% reduction. I was happy with Blaze so chose to replace. I then received another email to say Blaze no longer available I could exchange for Surge which I also believe is discontinued  and has no color screen and only available in large now my wrist is small so completely unsuitable or I could upgrade at a reduced cost in other words pay another £100 or more. They refused a refund even though they agree the product is faulty. My only option now is to see if the retailer will exchange/ give a refund or just keep the faulty one and hope it doesn't get worse.  I haven't even had it for 3 months, very bad customer service. 😡

Hey @Siggles, a warm welcome to the Community.

I am sorry to hear about what happened with your Blaze. It's great to know that you have contacted our support team and were offered a solution.

I think that a 50% discount for an upgrade is awesome. If you are interested in using that discount, in this page you will be able to compare all of our devices, you can compare them to the Blaze and see which one meet your needs.

Let me know if you need anything else. Smiley Wink

The problem is now resolved, I do not however see why you think 50% off an
upgrade which didnt include the versa or other cheaper models is awesome.
The Blaze cost £150 and is less than 3 months old if id wanted to pay £250
i would have in first place😡
