Blaze distance inaccurate, Screens get stuck

My stride is accurate.  It almost perfectly counts my steps, however the distance is off.  I consistantly get over 10,000 steps, but I rarely have over 5 miles unless I reach 13,000 - 15,000 steps.  I finally realized that it was the auto-recognized walk and run that were causing the inaccuracy.  It only calculates distance if I use the Excercise option for Walk.  I almost always forget to select that option, and it autocalculates Walk so I am always under on my distance.  Is this something that will be fixed in a firmware update?  I love the auto-recognize option, but it is not great if the distance is not calculated.

 

I also have an intermittent problem with the screens getting stuck.  I have to tap hard 5 or 6 times to open the Countdown screen, and also on some of the exercises.  If I reset the Blaze, if fixes the problem, but only temporarily.  It is a headache when I am ready to start the exercise and tapping won't open the screen.  Is this something that will be fixed with the new update?
