Blaze doesn't take a charge

My Blaze doesn't take a charge anymore after 15 months of light use. Fitbit has told me "too bad" and suggested that I should have bought the extended warranty. Any suggestions on how I can fix this or get a replacement?

A warm welcome to the Community @Daddyruns.

I am sorry to hear that your Blaze isn't charging. I recommend taking a look at the help article Why isn't my battery charging? and follow the instructions provide there.

Let me know the outcome. Robot Happy

It still doesn't work.  Does anyone know how to convince Microsoft / Fitbit to stand behind their products?

Here is the reply I received after numerous emails back and forth;

We hear how you miss your Fitbit Blaze as this is your buddy towards achieving your fitness goals.

Upon reviewing your case, we noticed that you mentioned you're using an Android S8, did you mean a Samsung Galaxy S8? If yes, we'd like to inform you that our team are currently correcting the bug regarding the battery issue currently experience by some of Blaze users along with their Samsung S8 mobile device. This bug is due to the Fitbit app installed on a Samsung S8 device and not an issue with the tracker. With this being said, your Blaze's battery issue would get resolve if you'll use a different mobile device in syncing your tracker.

I asked for a better discount than 25% and here's the answer I got;

We understand your current situation. However, we are unable to provide a larger discount. Furthermore, we'd like to give you an advance birthday present from your Fitbit family. We’re happy to provide you a complimentary three month subscription to our Fitbit Coach. Fitbit Coach provides personalized video workouts on your phone or computer. The Fitbit Coach app is available on Android devices running OS 4.4 (KitKat) or later.

The entire response is upsetting to says the least 😞

Wow, thanks a lot for writing to me about my problem. I love the community.

I'm running this hooked into my iphone.

My brother loaned me his Garmin Fenix 5 for a couple weeks to see how I
like it.
