Hello @LanetteYurt no the app should not be needed to be installed over and over. Last time I installed was because I changed my sd card.
With a sync problem
I usually try in the above order, but haven't had any problems with syncing in weeks.
I still find sometimes after a successful sync the app still says I haven't.. This happens even when the app has congratulated me.
About messaging, Fitbit sends what has been sent to it. It sounds as if you are using the default Android Messager, and what you see is to be exoected.. I switched to Google Messanger for this reason and now can read my messages.

It's great to see you around @LanetteYurt and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by and for the information.
Here are some steps to follow regarding your questions:
1. About the syncing problem, you can follow our syncing troubleshoot. You don't need to be uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.
2. Yes, you can receive several messages from the same person, just keep in mind that Blaze stores a maximum of 30 notifications. Now, if you have problems with the notifications, you can follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.
If you need anything else, do not hesitate in posting it.
Catch you later. ![]()
