Blaze flashing rapidly

Hello! I changed my Charge to the Blaze, very excited 🙂 the blaze didn't sync today, so i redid everything, shut down, charged for a bit.

After the install, prior to shutting down, i went to check if my notifications were on (on the Blaze) and the music screen kept flashing. I have a few questions:
1. Does the app ALWAYS need to be installed over and over? Seems inefficient, however, im also new to Fitbit
2. Does the fitbit show multiple messages/same sender or just 1st one? It seemed to be on point with messages during activty until today.
ALL with Blaze was perfect and it just seems like a short time span for great. I've had it 3 days and it seems like it's acting up already?
Can someone chime in? Thank you

Hello @LanetteYurt no the app should not be needed to be installed over and over. Last time I installed was because I changed my sd card.

With a sync problem

  • turning the phones BT off/on usually is enough
  • Restarting the Blaze
  • Restarting the phone
  • Adding the Blaze as a replacement device

I usually try in the above order, but haven't had any problems with syncing in weeks.

I still find sometimes after a successful sync the app still says I haven't.. This happens even when the app has congratulated me.

About messaging, Fitbit sends what has been sent to it. It sounds as if you are using the default Android Messager, and what you see is to be exoected.. I switched to Google Messanger for this reason and now can read my messages.

It's great to see you around @LanetteYurt and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by and for the information. Woman Happy Here are some steps to follow regarding your questions:

1. About the syncing problem, you can follow our syncing troubleshoot. You don't need to be uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

2. Yes, you can receive several messages from the same person, just keep in mind that Blaze stores a maximum of 30 notifications. Now, if you have problems with the notifications, you can follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.

If you need anything else, do not hesitate in posting it.

Catch you later. Woman Wink
