Blaze - general disappontment

Just bought a Blaze, gotta say, pretty disappointed....

1) only receives alerts from one of my  phones, not both (work and personal)

2) iPhone so won’t support WhatsApp messages

3) not waterproof

4) Can’t lock the screen on when doing cardio, which makes it pretty useless for heart rate zone training

5) Bluetooth sync with my phone keeps dropping out with the message on the phone ‘Looking...’ continually on display until I restart the tracker.

All in all. Well below my expectations, I’m returning it to the shop tomorrow and will replace it with a proper device.

Unfortunately @Scott_w the Blaze not connecting to two devices is a limitation of Bluetooth not Fitbit.

As for waterproof, legally there is no definition of waterproof, a little research would have made you aware of the water resistant capabilities.

As for the lock screen I would add your vote to the suggestion

The sync dropping out may be from trying to connect two phones, if the tracker is connected to one device it will not be able to communicate with the other one.

Thanks for your reply ‘community legend’, greatly appreciated.

Yes, clearly I should have done my research to learn the full crippling shortfalls of this device.

Your general tone re ‘waterproof’ is particularly patronising and not in any way clever. A reasonable person can derive a common meaning of the term.

The tracker is sync’d with one phone only and continually drops. I’ve reset everything, reinstalled the app. I’m not wasting anymore time on it.
