Blaze heart rate spikes?

Hello,

 

I often get random spikes in my heart rate recorded by the fitbit blaze, at times of rest or even sleep. It's freaking me out! I'm worried there is something wrong with my heart.  Anyone else get this?

Hi, @Rhsana, obviously if you are concerned at all you should consult your GP!  Never take medical advice on the internet.

 

Having said that, I sometimes have this issue.  I find it is minimised if I wear the Fitbit a little tighter on my wrist and maybe a little higher.  That seems to make the HR recordings a little more accurate, especially when exercising.

 

Alternatively, once you have investigated this with your doctor and ruled out any health issues, you could just ignore those little spikes...
