So annoying to the other riders in the room since our class is in a dark room. I've tried everything but can't get this stupid light to stop from intermittently going on and off! Any suggestions??

Hi, @DianeCh5, it sounds like you have "quick view" turned on, meaning when you flick your wrist the Blaze screen will turn on. Wit quick view turned off your Blaze should not light up unless you press a button or tap the screen.
To turn quic view off, go to your app, select the Blaze icon, and on the next screen scroll down to "quick view" and toggle it to off. Be sure to sync your Blaze after you make any changes.
If you like to have quick view on except during your class you can always toggle it back on again -- as always, just make sure to sync.

@DianeCh5, you can also turn quickview of right on your wrist. Swipe over to settings - tap the screen - swipe to quickview - change status

@Rich_Laue, thanks for reminding me! I had forgotten that that feature had been added.

A warm welcome to the Community @DianeCh5, @Rich_Laue and @Julia_G thanks for stopping by.
I think that I don't have anything to add here, since the recommendations provided are great. Have you tried them? If you haven't, as mentioned, please check that the quick view feature is in "Off".
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Ok so I turned off the "quick view" feature and thought it was solved. Well it's still coming on and off during spin class. Just a note, the class I take and teach is called "drop saddle spin" so we ride the whole hour standing. There is very little arm movement but the bright light was still illuminating on and off. It is irritating to the other riders next to me as we ride in the dark. How to stop this?

Hi, @DianeCh5, with quick view off, the only reason the Blaze should light up is if you are accidentally touching the face or pressing a button. The only thing I can think of in that case is to wear a sweat band over your Blaze during class. It shouldn't interfere with any of the functions and should prevent the light from bothering your classmates.
You can also adjust the brightness levels on the Blaze, so you could turn it to its lowest brightness. You can do that on the settings menu on the Blaze itself.
Finally to make sure it isn't light escaping from the heart sensor LEDs that is disturbing people, wear the Blaze snuggly on your wrist during the class.

I have to after with @Julia_G, @DianeCh5 I find that with quick view off my tracker will not light up with any twist of the wrist.. This should be easy to confirm, and if you do find that twisting the wrist still causes it to turn on then let's do a restart of the Blaze..

So if the Quick view is turned off, and it still lights up, that's a problem. I also want to turn off the "tap feature" (whatever it's called) when the watch is bumped or tapped, it lights up. Either way, nothing is stopping the unnecessary lighting up. Please help!

Pressing the button will also turn the display on.

The Fitbit blaze still lights up in spin class and we ride in the dark so it’s annoying to other riders next to me. I’ve tried everything. What else can be done? Is it related to max heart rate? Again I have quick look off and I already turned off and restarted the Fitbit. Very frustrating.
