Blaze not connecting

I've had my blaze for about 2 years now. I've had to delete it off my phone a few times. I have zero notifications on it, as I don't want txt msgs or phone call notifications etc. Turned everything off the day I got it. Tunes the Bluetooth on today to update my fitness & all of a sudden I was getting txt messages on it. Looked at the app & it's turned off. Figured it was glitches again so I deleted the blaze & no I cannot get the blaze to connect . I've shut it off several times, yes it's fully charged. Does anyone else have issues with theirs or is it just me? I have this issue it seems every few months with it. Getting more than annoyed. I emailed support about when I first got it & they said looks fine on their end. Well it's not. 😠

A warm welcome to the Community @RedInk74, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

If you are having issues adding the Blaze to your account again, I recommend restarting it a couple of time more and make sure you are doing the following from the Fitbit app:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

Thanks for the reply but I tried this 10 times last night & it’s still won’t connect. And it’s not connected to my phone but yet I have txt messages showing up on it? Again, not connected to phone! It randomly does this since I’ve owned it for the last 2 yrs. it literally won’t connect to my app or phone. I am at a loss as to what to do

I went down to the Apple store & it turns out my phone was hooped. Said it was hooked up to my blaze when it wasn’t. So they swapped it for a new one. Glad to know I wasn’t crazy lol thanks for your help 🙂
