Blaze not counting stairs!

Hello

so im a all green freak and love when at end of day I’ve hit all my targets

however since the last glitch ( counting calories wrong) my blaze is now not counting stairs (levels going up 10 steps) .

This is a key indicator for me as I purposefully always choose stairs instead of the lift at work!

@KiraWright1 Have you tried a restart yet? If not, press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until you see the Fitbit logo.

And I assume you know (since it sounds like you’ve been doing this for a while), that it doesn’t count the stairs, but rather a flight of stairs - 1 flight is approx. 10 feet in elevation.

Counting flights of stairs is important to me as well.  I start every day with 20 flights of staris and my FitBit Blaze has always been inaccurate.  Three days ago it stopped counting flights of stairs completely.  I restarted my Blaze as recommended in the forum, but it doesn't seem to have helped.  Is there a wa to send my FitBit in for repair if I ever decide to do so?

After my Blaze died I bought a Versa 3.  The stairs function worked for about 1 week and was completely inaccurate.  It quit completely after that and has never counted stairs since.  I like everything else about it so after a call to FitBit where no solution was found, I just left it alone.  I'm still a bit upset that I can't use it for counting stairs (it always registers 0 flights), but it's been great for everything else.

1 stair count is walking up 10 feet, not 10 steps. Your Blaze monitors air pressure changes, and sometimes this hole gets clogged
