Blaze not counting steps

I had my Blaze for six months. Since that time I have had problems with it syncing properly, but it will sync within the day. My biggest problem is I live in a climate that get very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so I do a lot of walling in malls and walmart and my Blaze does not count steps. I thought it had something to do with the store, but my son has the same blaze and had not problem with his steps in malls. I wear my blaze on my left hand.  I am right handed. I even switched to see if that would help, same results.  Is there an answer for my problem in the fitbit community?

A warm welcome to the Community @omahapostal. If your Blaze is not registering your steps, I recommend restarting your tracker. After the restart process, walk 100 steps and let me know how many your tracker registered.

I have tried restarting many, many times. I have tried deleting Blaze and
an again as new device. Still same. Yesterday when I tried restarting my
Blaze, the face started Flickering and has not stopped no matter what I
did. At this time this Blaze is pretty much useless to me.
