Blaze not receiving notifications

I recent changed my phone to a Samsung A20. My phone and fitbit have synced and all activities are recorded. However, my text messages and calls aren't coming through to my fitbit. I have turned off Bluetooth and reconnected, i have uninstalled the app and reinstalled, i have ensure all permissions are turned on within my phone settings, turned off the fit bit etc and they are still not coming through.

Any ideas please?

Hello @Kellythemac , it's good to see you around in the Community forums. Sorry for the late reply.

The full list of compatible devices with confirmed compatibility can be found here. Unfortunately I've confirmed the model Samsung Galaxy A20 is not listed as compatible device at the moment.

If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, but we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.

However, some users have been able to receive notifications after following the steps listed in this article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone

Unfortunately we haven't received any updates to be able to know when more devices will be included in the list of compatibility. I hope too that other phone models can be included in the near future.

Let me know if you have further questions.

It is disappointing that Fitbit is not compatible, I have been a customer for over two years.
Hopefully, this is something that can be rectified very soon.
Thanks
Kelly

Thank you for your reply @Kellythemac, at the moment we haven't received any news about having more devices included to the compatibility list, but this certainly would be beneficial to many users. I hope too that we can see many other phone models included in the future as well.

Thank you again for your feedback and comments about this.

What on earth...I have been using my Fitbit Blaze with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as long as I have had the phone, but it is the only Galaxy Note not listed as compatible.

Hi

I have a Samsung S10. I was receiving all sms and phone calls to my Blaze perfectly.

In the last 3 weeks I only receive phone calls.

I notice Samsung S10 is not a compatible device on your list ..... how is this so when i was able to use my Samsung S10 normally with sms and calls 3 weeks ago.

Will you be adding the S10 as a device or is this your company's ploy to make everyone buy a new fitbit?

Hello @GingerC  and @Dashsux, it's good to see you around in the forums.

This is something I have experienced as well, since I have a non compatible device but I'm usually able to sync without any problem. As you've mentioned, it's possible that these devices will sync on a daily basis, but it can't be guaranteed that they will always work properly or that you'll always be able to use other features like call and text notifications if the phone is not yet listed as a compatible device.

At the moment we haven't received new updates to know when more devices could be included as compatible.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you. I am seriously shocked Fitbit can't even manage to support the #1 Android phone right now (Galaxy S10).  That means I have no hope on my Galaxy Note 8 (Which appears to be the only Note not supported for some unknown reason that Fitbit will not share with us).  I have been with Fitbit since the days of the Flex and the 5 LED dots, as I'm sure most of us have.  Sadly, it seems lately quality and service are not what they used to be.  I hope to be back in the future when you can make devices that will be more reliable and your answer for compatibility is something beyond "Nope".
