I've tried everything from the help topics and my Blaze have never received any notifications from my Samsung Note 8 phone.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If your tracker isn't receiving notifications, I recommend taking a look at the help article My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and follow the instructions provide there.
