Bought my wife a Blaze and stupidly thought it would be easy to set up. After many hours trying to get it to sync it would very occasionally do it ... but no call or text notifications! And no where close to what was promised in the merchandising description.
So Amazon sent me a replacement. Setup was what I expected it should have been, syncing no problem, receiving calls but can't get it to receive message notifications! Read and tried lots of online post suggestions to no avail.
Why is it so difficult? Is this a common problem that it's just not technologically there yet or poor quality manufacturing? If I can't get it sorted then this one will go back to Amazon as well!

Hey there @Suetl, welcome to the Community and thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.
About the steps you followed, can you please be more specific and tell what have you tried so far? In the meantime, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (iOS Fitbit app) post and follow the instructions provided there.
