Blaze not receiving texts on iPhone 7plus

I just got this. It receives calendar notifications and calls but not texts. I’ve tried every option including updating software, turning Bluetooth off (forget device), re-pairing and ensuring my messages are not on dnd. Please help! 

 

Iphone 7plus is compatible or so it says it is.

A warm welcome to the Community @Stpowell, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

 

I would like to know if you keep having issues receiving text notifications? If you do, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (iOS Fitbit app) post and follow the instructions provided there.
