What I don't see in this doc is the need to enable show on lock screen under sounds and notifacations in the phones settings.
On another note, the default messaging app doesn't work the way you want it to? And will only show a message count when more than 1 unread message.

Do you have notifacations enabled on the iOS device? This will cause a bond with the Blaze, keeping your android device from communicating with the Blaze.. The fix is to move the iOS device away or turn off its BT. This is because a Bluetooth receiver as what the blaze has, simply can only talk to one server, device, at a time.
Also don't remove the tracker from the app, remove it from the phones BT settings screen, then force a sync.

Do you have caller ID enabled on the Charge? If not, your Charge won't bond the way the Blaze does.

I'm glad you're enjoying your tracker @Bikerbeach 😄
Now, when it comes to swimming, yes, it's necessary for you to take it off 😕
Fitbit trackers are water resistant which means that it will resist rain, sweat or in the situation that it falls in a pool and you act promptly to take it out, the tracker should not suffer much damage. However, if you use it for swimming or showering with it, there's a chance that the tracker will get damaged.
Let us know if you need any more help!

No worries @Bikerbeach 🙂
Hi there @naladivad1. Welcome to the Community! 🙂
I can recommend restarting your tracker by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot and also turning your bluetooth off and back on can help.
Try it out and let me know how it goes!

Hi there @Nat08. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community! 🙂
I can recommend setting up your tracker as a new device. For this, restart your tracker just one more time making sure to press and hold the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. After that, you need to go to the account section. Here look for the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and it should connect without any problem and not give you problems after that.
Let me know how it goes!

I love my new Blaze but I cannot get text notifications from my Galaxy S4. It says Blaze classic is paired with Bluetooth classic. Any suggestions?

Good to see you in the Fitbit Community @KGibson72! 🙂
I'd like to know if you've already turned on the notifications from your Blaze settings. If not, please tap on the picture of your Blaze while on the dashboard. Scroll down to "Notifications" and make sure to enable them. Follow the instructions and after that, get your tracker to sync. Once you've done this, you should be able to receive notifications on your phone.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help!

Hi, I just got a Blaze yesterday and the syncing to my Galazy S5 is very sporadic. At the moment it having issues syncing and last sync over 2 hours ago. It keeps trying but doesn't sync.
I have "rebooted", I have taken off all other paired Bluetooth devices from my phone (which is a bit of a pain) and I have tried to add device & then "replace Blaze" so I don't loose any tracking that has occured.
I'm on version 17.8.402.1 - all day sync is on. Blue Tooth classic is showing as "pair" on Blaze and can see that the Blaze is paired in my bluetooth.
Any advice on how I get this to sync please? Thanks!
