OMG this is really frying my brain! Since Fitbit brought out the Ionic or the whatever it is called my Blaze is really rubbish. I cannot get it to all day sync anymore. I have to restart it. I have to restart Bluetooth. I have to force stop the app. I'm then told to unpair Bluetooth. Then restart Bluetooth. Then repair the device.
Fitbit this is really bad ... Since you have launched the Ionic. My Blaze has played up daily. It is getting beyond a joke and is becoming seriously annoying. If a device is not compatible please say so. I am using an Android phone and I am seriously thinking about ditching Fitbit. The watch is really not doing what it is supposed to do.
I paid £200 for a watch that is clearly not capable of doing what it says on the tin. I would like to see a response from Fitbit. I would like to know what you are doing about this problem as it seems you don't care anymore and I see more and more people posting the same thing.

Angry doesn't quite explain it!

@Dawwen2811 you will need to contact Fitbit for a response, or maybe wait to see if a moderator stumbles across the post.
As for inspiring the tracker, this is only done through the phones Bluetooth settings, and the app will never ask you to pair the tracker during a sync. The app does not need the tracker paired, also pairing the tracker can not be done by the user.
Without knowing what phone. Gthe source of the problem I'll be generic.
Not every step will be needed. And next time start with the step that allowed a sync.
First let's restart the Blaze and the phone.
Remove the Blaze from the phones Bluetooth.
Clear unneeded apps out of memory, this is helpful in Android 6 and below.
Clear the fitbit's app cache.
Kill the Fitbit app through the phone settings, swiping out of memory won't do it if all day sync is enabled.
To sync simply open the app.

Hey there @Dawwen2811, welcome to the Community, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself and @Rich_Laue for stopping by.
If you are having issues syncing your tracker, I recommend taking a look at the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the instructions provided there.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

I am seriously thinking of putting a hammer through my fitbit blaze. I have had enough now of being told to unpair force close the app turn off bluetooth the watch has gone downhill since the launch of ionic...quite ironic really! It performs shockingly. Hardly syncs when you want it to anymore. Hardly ever connects to phone. #junkstatus.
Im really not happy. I love fitbit and the community. But I am not going to pay £300 for an ionic for you to do this to the ionic in 2years time when you bring out a new model.
Like I say it worked perfectly before the new model came out.
Really unhappy and thinking of ditching fitbit and buying a Garmin. Please stop fobbing customers and loyal customers at that.
My fitbit blaze is a pile of JUNK it isnt working. But I have spoken to someone with an IONIC on today and he says oh yeah its brilliant.
The psynic in me says that fitbit supports ionice more than the older watches now.
This is the second post and please dont tell me to turn off and on again Im sick of it.
I ran a half marathon today and it totally screwed it up for me due to losing connection etc. Not happy!

@Dawwen2811 you probably would be happier with the ionic and its built in GPS, no phone required.
As for the Blaze Fitbit releasing the ionic would not make the blaze to fall apart.
Normally if my unit doesmtdosync I restart the tracker. If that doesnt work I restart the phone. Android phones need to be restarted at least once a week, so this step is no big deal.
If it still doesn't sync I remove the tracker from the phones Bluetooth, but can not remember the last time iIdid this.
I've also noticed on the Blaze that when the battery is below 30% I sometimes have syncing problems. Then again most lithium batteries should not be allowed to fall much below 30%.

I was having trouble with my Blaze not syncing and it seems I may have fixed it by removing Blaze from my Bluetooth listing and keeping only Blaze (Classic) connected. It may just be a coincidence but so far so good. As soon as I removed the other one it synced all of my data.
