I am having the same problem. I think I saw a blurb that they were having a problem with an internet connection a couple of days ago. I don't see it on the site any longer and I'm still having problems with syncing of all. When I try a manual sync, it keeps saying it's looking. So I shut down my iPhone and restarted and it started syncing. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the Forums @SAS78 and @SunsetRunner thanks for the input.
I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this problem and would like to know if the instructions provided by our friend worked? Are you able to sync your tracker now? You can also try the steps provide in the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
Hope to hear from you soon.

I bought a Samsung Note 9 and have not had a good experience with syncing. The biggest inconvenience is when traveling and I need my watch to be on local time.
After reading the threads on this topic, I've concluded that, due to the competitive nature of the fit smart watch market, Fitbit is not a "Partner" or a high priority of Smartphone OEMs (e.g. Samsung and Apple) to get a pre-release smartphone to optimize the Fitbit app, prior to launch. Both Samsung and Apple have their "eco-system" of smartphone and smartwear (fit watch). And from the looks of the new Apple watch, they are putting another stake in the ground to claim the entire marketshare. So therefore, Fitbit's only option is to wait for a new smartphone to launch (e.g. Note 9 for me) to buy them for their software Engineers to make the Fitbit apps compatible.
Check to see what smartphones are compatible: https://www.fitbit.com/devices
If my assumptions are true, it's my guess that Fitbit will focus on the newer Fitbit watches (e.g. Versa and Iconic) since they'd want to have these customers have a good experience with new phones, and then work their way down to the Blaze.
So, with the development time involved for Software Engineers taking as long as several weeks, it'll be a while before I expect the new Samsung Note 9 will be supported with my Fitbit Blaze.
In the meantime, I'll park my Fitbit Blaze for now and go back to my analog timepieces.

I've received no response or reply from fitbit moderator
Recent app updates have not fixed the issues I am having with Note 9 and fitbit blaze
I'm done! Selling or giving this piece of crap away. Will go with the Samsung Gear products since it's better focused on the Samsung smartphone as an eco system

I'm also having syncing issues with my Galaxy s7. I sync fine when I use my ipad at home. But when it comes to my phone, I can't get it to work regularly. It may work for a day, then stop for weeks. I've been trying for a few hours and it won't work. I've contacted fitbit and they send me the same info about syncing but won't address the actual problem. I shouldn't have to shut down my fitbit 10x a day in order for it to sync. I paid for the blaze and I wish I could enjoy the features of the blaze. I'm never going to upgrade until these syncing issues are addressed.
