I tried to update my Fitbit a few days ago and all seemed to go alright but the update never ended  I left I ton overnight despite the app saying it should only take 5-10 minutes and now I'm stuck in a boot loop, overtime I restart my Fitbit it goes straight back to the update installation screen and I cant redo the update via my iPhone as my Fitbit can no longer be found. not sure what to do from now on 😕 my device has completely run out of charge and since charging it up, the device is still showing the installation screen on the display - any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Huh... this is pretty rare @Darblue20. Great to see you in the Forums by the way!

I can suggest probably restarting your tracker again. Just to be sure, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. After that, proceed with setting it up as a new tracker.

For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem. After that, you should be able to use your tracker and if it has not updated while in the setup process, you should be able to do it from the app.

Let me know how it goes!

Hey, I’ve done all of your steps and still no luck, my tracker won’t display anything other than the update loading screen, I’ve followed the restarting steps and I have left my tracker run out of charge entirely and as soon as I charge it, the update loading screen comes back up and never disappears until it runs out of charge again and it’s stuck on an endless boot loop, I couldn’t set it up as a new device because it won’t register at all so I really don’t know what to do from now on 😕
