Blaze notification setup and other question

Hello,

So I've had my blaze for at least half a year now and I was excited to see the new update for the email notification and other app notification. I've followed all the guidelines provided on this website but I still don't see the option to enable email notification on the "notification" page in the Fitbit app (I do see the app notifications option though). How do I enable the email notification?

Also, I was wondering how to change the clock face from 12hr to 24hr setting in the new "Moment" clock face? (ie. 8:45pm as 20:45)

Thank you in advance!

Hello @munshik I'll start with the easier question. For the 24 hour click you would go to your user settings on the web. Log into fitbit.com - then click the settings gear in the top right - next the word Settings. The time setting will be found in the lower half of the page.

As for extended email notifications, in the app it's menu - devices - Blaze - call and text notification.

At the bottom of the screen there should be App Notifications, tap this.

Now if this isn't so, make sure your charge firmware is 301.7

@W-L I'll assume you have an adroid phone?

Are sure that you choose the correct email program?

It sounds like you are habingbtheexact oppisiteof the above, if you get notifacationsfrom the other app.

Have you looked at the user manual or the help site

Hello Rich,
Thanks for the reply.
Since the last update I tried about everything I guess.
I have the iPhone 5s.
Is it a privacy setting on iPhone?
Or is it while I'm using three email accounts?
Apart from the email notification all works well.
Have a nice day...

Hey there guys @W-L @munshik @Rich_Laue, good to see you in the Community!

@W-L, in order for you to be able to receive a notification on your Blaze, you must first receive it on your phone. Once you've received the notification for any specific app or your mail on your phone, go to your tracker settings on the app, tap on "Notifications" go down to "App Notifications" and here you should be able to find the apps that have been sending notifications to your phone and you can enable them to send the notifications to your Blaze as you can see below:

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help with this!

So I walked through everyones advise and did all the resets ect.  I have a Samsung Note 5 and the recent update allowed me access so yea on that.   Everything was where it should be.  But still no notifications or calls coming through! I went to settings>APPLICATIONS>Fitbit>Permissions.  My phone wasn't sending anything to the fitbit because I guess I had denied access at some point.  I turned on everything except the camera.  Why would fitbit need my camera? Well, we will see if this corrects the whole issue.

Thanks for getting back @W-L. Not sure why mail wouldn't show up to be honest...

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app? Make sure you sync your tracker prior to this and see if that makes any difference.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi there @W-L. Good to see you back!

Were you able to try to uninstall and reinstall the app to see if after that the mail icon appears for enabling mail notifications?
