Blaze only working on cradle

Has anyone had any luck returning their Blaze for a replacement after 1 year? I purchased mine in October 2016; yesterday, I realized that when I removed it from the charger, it stopped working. The screen won't light up or anything unless it's on the charger. I have tried updating, resetting several times, nothing is working. I don't want to pay for another device that's just going to break down again a few moths after the warranty expires. Can anyone help?

I have already contacted them. I have done everything they suggested and it still doesn't work. The only solution they gave me is to purchase another one but I shouldn't have to do that when I didn't cause this problem. Is there a way I can just get it replaced, even though the warranty has expired?

Also, haven't they offer you anything else, like a discount of something? Since if you received a discount, keep in mind that you can use to purchase another Fitbit tracker (except the new ones). In this page, you will be able to compare all Fitbit trackers, maybe there's one that might like you besides the Blaze.
