Blaze pairing with phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Blaze stopped syncing with s7 edge phone 2 days ago.

Have unpaired from phone and then kept getting "rejected by blaze" message when trying to re-pair.

Then rebooted both phone and blaze.

Back into bluetooth on phone and blaze no longer comes up in a bluetooth scan.

Switched on pairing on blaze for bluetooth classic and that appears on phone. Can connect but sync still doesn't work

Fitbit Blaze doesn't show up like it used to under bluetooth and sync just spins around and around in app and nothing ever happens.

@OttoVonT it looks as if yoir not following the setup drections .

Think back when you first setup the Blaze, didn't you use the Fotbit app to set it up?

Now that the Blaze was removed from the phones blietooth, this is an excellent decision.

Lets restart both the phone and Blaze.

Next open the app and force a sync, the app knows what tracker.is attached and will sync the Fitbit. If the app needs to pair the tracker it will then do the pairing to the phone. This may however not happen until a notification is sent.

Hey @OttoVonT, welcome to the Community, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself and @Rich_Laue for stopping by.

I would like to know if the instructions provided by our friend worked? Are you still having issues with the setup process?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Wink

Hi,

I am still working through additional steps but have Blaze classic enabled via bluetooth and the app synced last night. withgout prompting.

I have noticed that sleep data doesn't come through although i added manually and then the data came through.

I used to have a bluetooth connection called "Blaze" which shows but if you try and pair to it comes back with the pairing rejected message.

i do have other devices connected via bluetooth, like a garmin device etc so doing some of these tests take time. I have noticed that trying to run a sync just doesn't work, hence my surprise when it did it on its own last night.

well Rich,

i have done zilch but twice it's synced on its own. triggered sync's don't seem to work.

i can't recall how it was set up so will review the setup pages when i have a chance.

anyway, seems to be working, not as before, but working anyway.
