Blaze quick view

Quick view off, but when I clap my hand face comes on. Help. Battery will run down faster? Only want it to come on when I push button

Hi, @Leesybrant, even with quick view off the Blaze will come on when you touch or tap the screen as well as when you press the button.  This is how it is designed.  Your hand clapping may be enough vibration for the Blaze to interpret this as a tap.  I wouldn't worry about this -- the effect on the battery should be minimal.

A good tip for keeping your battery always topped up is to charge it a little bit each day -- for example when you take it off to shower.  This will not hurt your battery at all.

Quick view has to do with the raising and twisting of the arm.. This does not disable the double tap that is turning the Blaze in when clapping your hands.

With Quick View off and nothing touching the touch screen, why does the screen come on without being touched or button pressed? If I tap the underside of my wrist it turns on the display as if Quick View were still on or the screen was touched.  This is happening manay, many times an hour with simple taps on my arm or hand. Bottom of the band under my arm turn on the screen. Why not turn off the touchscreen/taps & Quick View and allow only button presses to turn on the screen as a setting option?

Agree. I don't need or necessarily want the quick view and have it off; but regardless of that, on occasion, a twist of the wrist makes my Blaze flare up and flash the screen. Wish it was designed a bit differently / better to not do that.
