Blaze random issues seeking assistance

I've done some searching around for my specific issues and haven't found an actual solution, just work arounds so I'm wondering if maybe it's time for an upgrade?

My dad upgraded to the Ionic and gave me his Blaze, so this isn't a new watch by any means. From what I can tell I've had this watch since January 2018 and I'm not sure how long my dad had it before that. He gave me his Fitbit Zip January of 2017, so I think that's when he upgraded to the Blaze. So it's like 3 years old?

The issues it's having are:

Randomly resetting

- I will look at the time only to discover the Fitbit logo in its place

Wrong time

- And then I have to manually reset it

Has seemingly lost connection with my phone

- I'll try to sync from my phone to fix the time and it has a message about not being able to connect or something

Randomly won't track sleep

- I have kept my band at the same tightness and place and occasionally it just won't track my sleep. It has battery, but it just forgets to do its job

Notifications unreliable

- I set it to tell me about notifications. I'd say 99% of the time it doesn't do anything if I get a phone or a message. It used to be I always got my notifications. Now it doesn't really work.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and it was working pretty well until I think around July. That's when I noticed missing sleep information. Since then it's only gotten worse. I've reset it with the buttons, I disconnected it from my phone and reconnected.

I'm not looking for a free replacement. I just want to know if there is some random thing I haven't done (like Fitbit doesn't work with some silly phone setting) or if it more or less sounds like it's on its way out and I need to save for a new one.

Also, it looks like everything on my phone is up to date, the OS and the Fitbit app.

Thanks!

@DesertChessie Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

I appreciate the time you took to share the date that you got your Blaze and the random issue you've experienced since July. I'm happy to see that your dad is using a Fitbit Ionic.

Thanks for the troubleshooting performed prior to posting. I would like you to try the steps mentioned in this article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? Please make sure that your location is properly set and that your Blaze is syncing to keep the timezone updated.

Regarding the connectivity issues you're having, please try the troubleshooting in this article.

In regards to your Blaze randomly tracking sleep, try changing the sensitivity to sensitive.  Could you let me know if you're not receiving sleep stages or is it not tracking your sleep in general?

Last but not least, try the tips in this article about your Fitbit Blaze not receiving notifications

Let me know how it goes.
