My Fitbit blaze randomly shuts itself off. Ive tried resetting by holding the buttons and manually shutting it off. It turns back in when I realize it's off by pressing the left button but the time is frozen at the time it shut off. I have to sync with my phone to get it to have the correct time. So many lost steps...I'm dying. Please help!

It's great to welcome you @SunsetRunner, thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself and @WendyB for stopping by.
I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze and if you have already followed our friend's recommendations?
Hope to hear from you soon.

I am having the same issue where my fitbit blaze constantly turns itself off even if the battery is full. it doesn't matter if i am in the middle of an exercise or just sitting down. Sometimes, for it to restart, i have to charge it. I don't mind doing all that if it only happened once or twice, but it happens every other day and it's frustrating. If i pay over a $100 bucks for something, i expect it to work at least 90% of the time (i understand there can be some hickups with technology). Is there anything i can do to make it stop shutting off randomly every other day?
Thanks,

I have this same issue where even in a full charge it randomly shuts down and is beicked until I put it in the charger where it comes back to life without correct time or any of the steps since it shut down. I really need a sokution for this as I am loosing a lot of data I am trying to track. When it does not shut down the battery is lasting >1.5 days with the hr sensor on so it seems like it is still good. I also tried the shutdown 3 times suggestion above. Any help would be appreciated.

That’s exactly what happens to mine. It’s really annoying when it happens. I’m at the point where I’m thinking of changing brands since this one is not holding up to my expectations. Who once a product that shuts off randomly?!

Today I took my Fitbit off to paint and when I went to put it back on it was off. I has just charged it this morning so I didn’t expect it to be dead. I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. I restarted it by holding doqn the left and bottom buttons. It gives me the fitbit startup screen and then no display. The leds are working in the back sometimes and then they also **ahem** off. Syning doesnt happen because my fitbit won’t stay on long enough. My watch is only a few months old. Can anyone help?

My blaze was shutting off by itself recently. I tried all the things listed here by others but to no avail. But what did work...so far Blaze hasn’t shut off in 48 hrs....is that I put the Blaze in its charger...don’t close the lid...and held the unit so it thought is was charging and did a reset on the unit....while it was charging....left side button/lower right button...not sure if this will be a permanent fix....but it’s working so fingers crossed! Good Luck....

I am so frustrated. My Blaze has been doing the exact same thing. I've tried all of the recommendations with the exception of calling the support line.

Just put it in the charger and let it restart itself a bunch of times until it comes up.
