Blaze recording false steps and showing incorrect time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Ok so I woke up and my blaze had counted over 2000 steps when I woke up this morning. It had been on charge all night on my bedside which is normal but the step count isnt. I also just had my calorie goal buzz saying is burnt over 2200 calories and I know I haven' been that active today. Also this morning i restarted my fitbit as it was showing it was 1050 am and it wasnt it was 730am

How can I rectify this problem. I've looked in my app and seem of there are any updates and it says it fine.

Help? What can I do to remedy this??

Hey there @Bexi4993. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having issues with your tracker showing all this weird stats and not working as it should. Thanks for trying to restart your tracker though!

Normally, when you take your tracker off and leave it there either to charge or just to stay there, it could track some steps if where it's placed is exposed to vibrations as for example a fan station or something similar. Now, if this is not the case, that's really strange.

Since you already tried to restart it, we can move forward and try setting it up as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and steps should be recorded properly and the time should be correct as well.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you need more help!
