Heads up for anyone considering purchasing a Fitbit Blaze. This forum is littered with posts of people who have had a Blaze for only weeks or even days only to have the face crack, because it is made of inferior material, Gorilla Glass 3. So many of these products have been easily damaged that i'm surprised it hasn't been recalled. I had mine for only a little over 2 months and awoke one morning to find a large crack across the screen. What good is a sleep monitor if the product is so fragile that it can crack in your sleep? When I contacted Fitbit support, I was told that the warranty does not cover "user damage" and that they'd be happy to give a 25% discount on a new one. Why would anyone want a new one knowing it will break from such a rigorous activity as sleeping. It is a disgrace to put such a product on the market and then to hang your customers out to dry.

I have had my Blaze since it has been out and it never cracked. Its all about Product care IMHO
Did you accidentally do something? Reading your post above you did. Sorry but I dont see why something you did should be covered under warranty

Been wearing mine around the clock other than when charging, swimming, or showering, since March 2016, and I'm happy to say, no cracks from sleeping. 🙂

Lets do some math
1000 Fitbit Blaze units sold a month until the Charge 2 came out, then sales went down a little.
Does it still sound lije crack screen issues are a majir problem?

Lets do a little more math.
1) If there were only 1000 units sold per month that would only be 20 per month per state in a country of 320 million plus assuming we are only counting domestic sales. If that were the case Fitbit would have been out of business a long time ago so if you are going to make up facts at least make up ones that would help your point or be a little believable.
2) You have commented 22,208 times as of now on this website alone making you either a paid employee of Fitbit, a robot, or a shameless troll living in your mom's basement. None of those options leave you with much need for a fitness tracker because you couldn't possibly be walking around much given how much time you spend online.
3) A simple google search yields hundreds of hits from other people who have had similar issues with the product meaning it is not an isolated incident.
Now with that said, I had a bad experience with this product. I'm sure there are many others who have had great experiences and I wish them well, but I wanted to issue a warning so that others would at least stop and think for a moment before shelling out several hundred dollars for a fitness tracker with a propensity for cracking. There are other options out there including alternative products from Fitbit that are more durable.

Let's admit this product is not the greatest quality. I've had to change my blaze twice due to manufacturer issue.

With 15 relatives and meeting new people, everyday over the last 4 years, with Fitbits, with having had 10 fitbits, with one exeption, i have not noticed a manufactured defect.
I don't think ive met more than two users with complaints.
Oh my one issue, a slight wear in the design in the band of the Surge.

I just experienced the same **ahem** thing. Exactly as you said, FITBIT only offered me a 25% discount. Not a replacement, nothing! Fricking ridiculous. I've purchase several other Fitbits and the bands would separate, FITBIT replaced a few of them. Spend more money on this one, in July, not willing to do anything even though I think it came with a half moon crack that I thought was a place to remove a plastic film that was covering the screen, Just realized it was a crack too. NOT HAPPY!
Does anyone know if you can purchase just the Tracker (watch) part without the band?

I did and I got the same response. 25% towards another purchase was their offer. Unacceptable!
