I have a desk job where I am not very active. I rely on the Fitbit to get me up and moving. I have noticed that my step count is very high when I have sat at my desk. Every time I raise my hand to type and move my arm to reach for something it registers a step. Very frustrating.

Hey @SunsetRunner, a warm welcome to the Forums.
Your Blaze might register some hand movements as steps. If you want to know if your tracker is being accurate, I recommend restarting it and then do the following:
1. Put your device on your wrist.
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your device to see your step count.
Let me know the outcome. ![]()
