Hi...
I used the Blaze like a charm for a few months, I was really happy with it.
I went away on holidays and left the Blaze home. Now I'm back and Blaze wont sync or update some new firmware out there.
I read all forums I could find and I did turned on, holding the left and bottom right buttons. I restart the phone. Turned bluetooth on/off - off/on, restart phone and blaze, notifications on/off, restart phone and blaze, bluetooth on/off - off-on again, restart, restart, restart, restart, and every possible combination you can think of.
NOTHING.
I've now downloaded the app for syn Blaze with my Mac.
- 1) My Mac doesnt see the Blaze in the bluetooth menu, it doesnt appear on it range at all, like if the Blaze bluetooth was off, and I get a message saying
"Turn on Bluetooth to sync your trackers
Please go to your System Preferences to turn on Bluetooth"
My Mac sync perfectly with other devices. I turned every other device off, restart blaze, restart Mac, and still NOTHING.
- 2) Mac doesnt see the Blaze connected by cable to the computer. I have try different USB ports with no luck.
For what I can see either Mac or iPhone cannot see the Blaze (either by bluetooth or cable), so it wont sync or update. Since my Mac or iPhone dont have any problem to pair with any other devices, it must be a Blaze fault.
What else can I do?
Is there any way to turn bluetooth in Blaze on again???
So here I am, frustrated and wasting so much time on this, it's not even funny. Another unhappy customer.

Last update
- I went back to IOS (iPhone) - with Mac turned off to NOT interfere with iPhone Bluetooth
- I made sure iPhone it wasn't pair with Blaze (previously I had "Forget this device")
- Then, I DELETED Fitbit app in iPhone.
- I restarted iPhone
- I restarted Blaze (left button and right bottom buttons at the same time, AND I counted 20 seconds with both buttons pressed at the same time)
- I installed Fitbit app again
- I made sure iPhone Bluetooth was ON BUT I did not pair them through iPhone settings
- I opened Fitbit app and Fitbit app asked me straight away if I wanted to sync with Blaze
- I said YES to sync, YES to turn on location, NO to turn on notifications
- Iphone Fitbit app ans Blaze syncronised (!!!!!!!!!!!!)
- Fitbit app asked me if I wanted to syncronise (??)
- Fitbit app sync again (?!?!)
- In Fitbit app, I updated Blaze...
AND IT WENT THROUGH!
So this has been solved, now it's sync again and all sound. I wanted to leave the solution here in case it helps someone else someday.
Not happy at all with this, Blaze is too expensive for this headaches, I know it has to do with IOS updates too but it's not giving a good customer experience at all. I have wasted hours on this.

Hello @carmila before your going to be able to sync through the Macy's BT you will need to inbound the tracker from the phone. This means to either move the phone 30+ feet away or to turn it's BT off. The Mac also needs to have BT4.0 or newer. With the MAC you can also connect the Blaze up and sync through the charging cord, no BT needed.
Let's go back to the phone, no clue as to what phone, , have you removed the tracker from your phones BT settings screen then tried a sync?

Hi Rich, thanks for your reply.
I unpaired Blaze and iPhone. I turned BT off in iPhone. Then on my Mac, I unpaired all BT devices on Mac, and I restarted the Mac...
- Mac still does not see the Blaze and I cant connect them by BT.
- When I try to sync through the charging cord, nothing happens. Fitbit Connect does not see Blaze neither..
Now I cant pair Blaze with my iPhone again, which is strange because until now I was able to pair and unpaired from the iPhone, I actually did it a few times. I even could sync once 4 days ago after trying a lot of times, although I couldnt update to the new firmware and never sync again since. Now my iPhone does not see Blaze anymore so I cant even pair them again...
Thanks
Carmila

Hello again... just a quick update...
After many many many times, Blaze and Mac are paired now. I can see in Blaze (Classic) connected. However when I run Fitbit Connect, and I go through the different options, Fitbit Connects asks me to turn my BT off, like not seeing that is already on and paired...
Charging cord still not working when I connect it to Mac.
Cheers.
