Blaze stops tracking in exercise mode

Today whilst out on a 17 mile home the fitbit stopped the exercise tracking and went to the clock screen 5 times! The mostbot tracked was 3.6 miles. I don't know what is going on , wasn't any sleeve touching screen or buttons being pressed by me. Any ideas? I need to resolve this before a 30 miler next week!

It's great to see you around @SunsetRunner. Have you tried to restart your Blaze? If you haven't, I recommend restarting your tracker and test it.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I've had my Blaze for over a year and this has just started happening this month. Took my Surge out for an easy hike today and it held on to the end.  I think there may be a problem with the bluetooth dropping the Blaze which gets it's GPS from the phone unlike the Surge.

I have the same problem since 2 weeks!

Are your notifications being disabled? But they are actually on?

Leaving the Fitbit App on the notification page is a help...

Notifications have always been a hit or miss and I suspect that the
communication, (bluetooth) or the lack of, is the culprit.
I can't say that this is the fault of my Fitbits as my other bluetooth
devices also have to be reestablished on occasion.

The problem as of late is, the stopping of my runs randomly which really
bothers me when I think I've done an epic trail run.
I say, I think epic but just good runs for me. I'm called "Trail Snail" to
my younger running friends. 😕
