Blaze sync issue with Android app and dashboard. Also notifications issues

My blaze has been playing up since yesterday morning.  It wont sync (managed to get it to sync last night thankfully) but wont sync again.  Also my notifications are not being received, I rely on this alot at work so this is quite frustrating!! I have tried everything suggested but it still wont work ...

Hi, @Fliss81, when people say they have "tried everything" it is always difficult to know how to respond...  If you have not tried removing your Fitbit from your account (which I always think is a bad idea) you might try setting it up as a replacement tracker.  Sometimes that gets sync going again.

If you carefully work through all these steps and nothing helps you might want to get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support: contact.fitbit.com

Hi Julie, 

Thank you so much for your help.  I have uninstalled the app and re installed it and this seems to be working now! I was close to tears ... hahaha my fitbit is my life literally lol thanks again.

The main steps to take, usually one works then that is the one to try next time. 

-turn Bluetooth of/on, usually the app will tell you to do this. 

-restart tracker

-restart phone

-remove tracker from the phones Bluetooth settings page 

-Shutdown the phone/then restart 

-restart tracker 3 times. 

 

I agree saying that you tried everything means you tried everything you found suggested. Including some steps that could make matters worse, like removing the tracker from the account. You then still have to fix the non sync issue before being able to set it up again and the loss of any unsynced data. 

Setting it up as a replacement will not lose data.

I know about Fitbit addiction... it's coming up to 3 years since I got my first little buddy...
