Niticed a few weeks back that my Blaze stopped syncing with Iphone 7 while outdoors. The Bluetooth connection works, i can control the music for example, but the Blaze says is Searching. Until i get to some place with Wifi, where it connects and uploads changes perfectly. Is it some weird new feature, uploading only while online? Tried reloading Blaze, reloading phone, force-closing app - nothing helps.
SOS!

Thanks for getting back @NinelM.
Just to clarify all this. You can not sync your tracker if you don't have an internet connection. This has been like that since the beginning and if you were looking at the information on your phone while you didn't have an internet connection it was just the live display as @Rich_Laue mentioned above.
In order to sync your tracker to your dashboard and for the information to be stored on your account for good, you MUST meet the following requirements:
Also, as I mentioned before, a daily sync is recommended but not required. Most Fitbit trackers record detailed minute-by-minute data for seven days, so if you're able to sync weekly you'll find all your data on your Fitbit dashboard. (Fitbit Alta records minute-by-minute data for only five days). After seven days, Fitbit trackers can store daily totals for up to 30 days.
Hope this this helps. Let us know if you have more questions.

Nope, not a weird new v feature, its been this way since Fitbit started making trackers.
Any sync of a fitbit tracker requires the data to be sent from the tracker to Fitbits server. If your app can not get to TY he internet, no sync will happen

Perhaps I didnt explain myself clearly. I dont mean the sync to Internet - I mean the connection through Bluetooth between Blaze and App. It was working before, tracking in real time steps etc. But now I have to wait to get home to sync watch and phone. I am going to vacation to a place without Wifi, dont want my data to get lost in two weeks.

That is not the sync your title speaks of. Your refferring to live data, of which stopped working for me a few weeks ago when they offered the new dashboard preview.
I just tried it again and it is now working in both daahboards old and new.
Im on android, open the app, your tracker will only send the data while walking and the app is not trying to sync.
Make sure you have the latest app and you might have to restart the phone

Its not quite solved. I understood that this is not only my problem, but I still havent dealt with it. I deleted the app, downloaded it again, restarted the phone, restarted the Blaze just in case - it still doesnt read this "live data" and is Waiting...
Can I please get advise on what to do about it?

Im not sure what is ment by "is waiting"
Force a sync, go for a run, when the sync finishes as you walk you will else the steps increase on the phone app.

I cannot force the sync while offline. Im going to a place without Wifi for two weeks. How am I supposed to force sync there?
Adjusting the pic of what happens when offline. Sometimes it writes Waiting, sometimes Looking...

My Blaze isnt synching either... it says "last synch" was 9 hrs ago and I reset my blaze, reloaded app, checked my bluetooth to make sure its on, turned my phone off and on , connected to wifi and its still "trying to synch" -_- .... this has been happening since October update.

NE did this yesterday, it took me over an hour to get it to sync again. Now it's doing the same thing again; won't sync, says it can't find the Blaze. I don't want to mess with this for an hour every day to get it working again.. I had the One for 2.5 years and never had this happen.

Great to see you around guys!
@NinelM, as @Rich_Laue explained, you will not be able to sync if you don't have an internet connection. If you have a bluetooth connection, it may show the current information but will disappear the as soon as you exit the app and will not be stored on your phone. The Blaze will store all that information for 7 days with minute by minute information and up to 23 more days with just totals until you have an internet connection so that it can sync to your dahsboard and stay there.
@bkobish @BrocolliMonster, I'm sorry you're having problems also syncing your trackers. I can recommend trying to restart them by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your trackers to reboot and you can also try to reboot your phones and if this doesn't fix it you can after that, try to set them up as new devices. For this just go into the app to the account section, here look for the option that says "Set up a new device" and follow the on-screen instructions until the process is completed and see how it goes.
Hope this works for you and anything else you may need, let us know!

And what exactly happened to live data syncing via bluetooth which worked perfectly before? The Blaze was connecting with phone without any Wifi and all the data was stored on the phone. Was very useful.
Where can I download the previous version of the app or are you going to fix this back anytime soon?

That is not live syncing, it is called Live Display. where the phone app is being used as a remote display, and I still use this at times.

HOW are you using this at times?! I would love to do that too, you know. That is what the whole thread is about - and I dont care how it its called. Please will I get any help on subject at last?

I have seen this same thing happening, interestingly enough, only on one partiular wifi network. If I disable wifi on my phone, then the fitbit synchs.

You want to make sure that your tracker is connected to the app, the always connected helps but is not necassary. Look n your app to the right of the picture of your tracker, when connected there will be a little green symbol.
If connected the app will act as a remote display.

Look, i might be a dumb blonde, but not to this level. I know when my Blaze is synced with phone. When offline, it is NOT synced, and that is the major problem i'm discussing here. How can i make my phone connect to Blaze while offline? Completely offline, for a few weeks? Is there a way or not? Because I know precisely it was syncing like this offline before the last update in October.

@NinelM while the title says syncing without an internet, the OP wants to know how to ser the live data on the tracker from the app. What they want is a remote display of the tracker...
This is not the off-line sync that your asking for.. A sync only happens when the goes from your tracker to the fitbit in the cloud.
Your fitbit has the ability to store up to 30 days of data.
You are more than welcome to add your vote for the request store the fitbit data locally until it can be synced.

I would like to see the ability to sync directly with the app or software without Internet connection, I want to track my goals and realistically if the device stores the info for up to 30days would this not benefit the reporting by having it stored directly onto the device that the fitbit is syncing with so it can be uploaded to the server from there at a later stage if connectivity is an issue or even increase the 30day limitation? Surely the app/software can still interpret the data accordingly? It would appear that the info is bluetoothed to the app, uploaded and then see t back to the app anyway, why not cut out the middle man?
I am at sea for up to 45 days at a time, others travel with no Internet for extended time periods, some places Internet is costly etc etc.
I'm happy to have the info reach the fitbit server at some stage however this is not always possible for extended time periods.
On many forums there seems to be a need for this feature... are there any plans in the pipelines at a minimum? For a device that costs $250.00 am I really asking that much? Especially the fact I'm only one of probably millions of users of which most would be fine with saving data...
Thanks for reading and/or responding to my feedback, I hope it's something that will be genuinely considered.

Mine still say's "Connect to the internet to sync"...
If I weren't connected to the internet, how am I looking at and replying to this page right now?
I'm about ready to sling this **ahem** thing as far as I can sling it.
I have already been recommending to anyone that brings it up, to NOT buy a fitbit (I would already be using something else if my wife hadn't bough this for me).
