Niticed a few weeks back that my Blaze stopped syncing with Iphone 7 while outdoors. The Bluetooth connection works, i can control the music for example, but the Blaze says is Searching. Until i get to some place with Wifi, where it connects and uploads changes perfectly. Is it some weird new feature, uploading only while online? Tried reloading Blaze, reloading phone, force-closing app - nothing helps.
SOS!

@Unhappy67 I would shut the device down that your syncing through then owner it up.
Do you have a firewall running, this could be blocking the port.
Each program has to communicate through a port, thin of it as a door, individual ports can be turned off. Allowing some programs access and others not.

I am thinking of getting a blaze and i was wondering if it would still work without i

Just to clarify all this. You can not sync your tracker if you don't have an internet connection. This has been like that since the beginning and if you were looking at the information on your phone while you didn't have an internet connection it was just the live display as @Rich_Laue mentioned above.
In order to sync your tracker to your dashboard and for the information to be stored on your account for good, you MUST meet the following requirements:
- The Fitbit app is installed on a supported device. To check, visit http://www.fitbit.com/devices.
- The software on your mobile device is updated. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
- The Bluetooth setting on your mobile device is on. To check, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
- Your mobile device isn't managing other Bluetooth connections.
- If you use more than one Bluetooth phone, tablet, or computer to sync, the other one isn't nearby (or has Bluetooth disabled).
- Your tracker's battery isn't critically low.
- You have a stable internet connection
Also, as I mentioned before, a daily sync is recommended but not required. Most Fitbit trackers record detailed minute-by-minute data for seven days, so if you're able to sync weekly you'll find all your data on your Fitbit dashboard. (Fitbit Alta records minute-by-minute data for only five days). After seven days, Fitbit trackers can store daily totals for up to 30 days.
Hope this this helps. Let us know if you have more questions.

@Dulu72 what is your question?
What is it that your wondering if it still works.
Yes like @FerdinandFitbit wrote, you need an internet connection to sync your Fitbit with your online Fitbit account.
