Blaze tracking sleep when driving to work

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi Folks,

This happened a few times with my Blaze, it was tracking my sleep when I was driving to work or dropping my child to school.

Also, have observed discrepancies in Step count, Distance, Calories counts.

Hey there @ramanbv. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

This seems very strange... Your Fitbit tracker will record your sleep when you're still for over an hour and you will start getting Sleep Stages after being asleep for 3 hours. Now, for how long do you drive that it tracks your drives as time asleep?

Something that I've noticed myself is that sometimes I would wake up and get to work (I ride my bike to my workplace) and when I get to work, I sit on the computer and don't really move a lot for over an hour when I just get there, and it seems to track that as time asleep. It could be a similar situation.

What I find useful in these cases, is to change the sensitivity of my sleep tracking. You can do this by going to the Account section at the top right corner of your app, then scroll down to Advanced Settings, then look for Sleep Tracking and here, change it from normal to sensitive and save the changes and sync your tracker and see if this makes any difference.

Now, when it comes to the discrepancies on the other stats, you could try to restart your Blaze. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Let me know if you need more help with this!
