I am an avid skier, and whenever I go out skiing my fitbit just turns black and doesn't turn back on till I put it on a charger again. And it usually isn't that cold out.

Hi there @erodent1. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your tracker turning black when you're using it outside while skiing.

I don't really think the cold would make it not to work. The temperature where the Fitbit Blaze would not work is -4° and below that. I would recommend restarting your tracker and see if this makes any difference. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Try it out again after that and see if there's any improvement. Let me know if you need more help with this.
