Blaze vibrates then stops working

After some pool time, my Fitbit Blaze started vibrating. After 45 minutes to an hour it stops vibrating. I let it dry out and try to turn it on and nothing ... Maybe the battery is dead. I put it on the charger and it comes on and start a vibrating randomly. After 10 minutes the vibrating stops and there is no charge screen. I reset the Blaze three times per the instructions and nothing.

It may be broken beyond repair. The Blaze is not waterproof and shouldn't be worn in the pool.

I would put it into a sealed bag of dry rice for 24 hours (the rice draws out the moisture) and then try charging it again. Hopefully it will work but I fear that it won't.

Would also keep it away from the charger, since electricity and water do not mix.Give it a few days then try the resrt, before charging.

Welcome to the Forums @Qforty5, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. @SteveH and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.

As mentioned, the Blaze is not waterproof, swimming with it might cause some damages. As recommended, keep your Blaze dry for some hours in a bowl with rice, then restart it. Please confirm you are doing the following to restart your device:

  1. Press and hold the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Yes, your fitbit has shorted out.  If there is any moisture on the charging contacts will cause the fitbit to quit working.  I reported mines to Fitbit and they sent me a new one but due to the fact that I sweat hard when working out, hopefully I don't short this one out.  I am looking at getting the Samsung gear for working out because of the wireless charging function that is more stable than fitbit charging design.
