Blaze walking mode/app add in

In run mode we can set an alert at each distance (1 mile) which tells us where we are without having to look at our watch. However in walk mode you can't set mile mark alerts. Will this be added in the future? Instead of fitstar I use map my run. Can we can in the next update the ability to incorporate an app like this on the blaze in place of fitstar? Thanks.

Since this is not an option right now. I was able to find this feature request for enabling cues for walking as you do with running. You can see the request by clicking here. Be sure to add your vote and comments there and hopefully this will be a thing soon.

When it comes to incorporating apps like Map My Run to the Blaze, I'm not sure how possible this is. I'm saying this because FitStar has a direct partnership with Fitbit and that's why it will show up on your Blaze but that's not the case of Map My Run or other apps so honestly I don't see this coming anytime soon. You can still create a feature request for this by going to the Feature Request board.
