I first bought a Charge HR and loved that.
Then i bought a Blaze, and thought that would be even better, but it´s not, it is actually making people tired, stressfull and proberbly sick!
Why you ask.
It´s simple, you will wake up from the screen light MANY times each night, the tap gesture feature cant be turned off for some reason, like it can on the Charge HR, and that result in a poor sleep, night after night!
I was on the edge of breaking completely down becource i was stressed out and tired at work for months now, and i didn´t really know why...
I did know that i had seen the screen light at night on the blaze now and then, but i did not connect the dots, until i about a week ago, when i just for fun tried my Charge HR again... Allready the next day, i was feeling so much better, relaxed and calm, and now i sleep all throug the night again!
Now it is easy for me to see that the sleep problems started when i started to use my Blaze!!
It is actually also really easy to see how i sleep with Charge HR vs Blaze, as i can just use fitbits on sleep-tracker to study what is happening!
It is sick that a helth-fitness-tracker like the Blaze, will actually make people sick from poor design and faulty software with lack of basic features, like a complete blackout at night!!!
The Blaze must be one big design fault when fitbit haven´t sorted this out allready.
- this watch will in the end have lives on it´s name for shure!!
Fitbit, make the Blaze work as it should, or pull it off the marked now!

Unfortunately you have to live with the tracker notifications even when notifications are off. I decided to stop ignoring it. It took about 2 days and it stopped.

@PeterSD if your refferring to the Quickview function lighting the display up then i suggest going into the settings menu of the blaze and turning quickview off. When you taise and rotate your arm, does the screen still turn on?.
As for notifications, these can be turned off by swiping down on the clock, or holding in the top right button, then turn off notifications.
As for brightness we have the option of auto, dim, normal, and max
The Blaze will also turn on with a tap of a button, or a double touch on the display.

Is it faulty or a feature your refferring to as being defective.
As for the Double tap menu option on the Charge 2, this was added as a feature request, and allows the user to choose what stat they would like to see.I guess somebody thought that the option to disable would be also nice to have.
If you set the brightness to dim does it still wake you up? Some have said the Blaze is so bright that it lights up the room as the sun shines in at noone, is this also the case for you?
It's 3pm and i need to take a nap before work.

I agree, I believe the option was it an afterthought. I turned off all notifications while watching a movie because my phone would not stop ringing or someone would send a text. Every other time I would still get a notification though it would be from the week before. 😜😜😜
